Assistant Head Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nursing professional to join our team as an Assistant Head Nurse - Clinical Leader. This is a leadership role that requires a strong understanding of clinical care and the ability to lead and manage a team of nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and policies
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide safe and quality patient care
- Act as a role model and mentor for nursing staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of operational priorities
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
- Experience developing and leading program development initiatives
- Experience coaching and mentoring staff
