About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nursing professional to join our team as an Assistant Head Nurse - Clinical Leader. This is a leadership role that requires a strong understanding of clinical care and the ability to lead and manage a team of nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and policies
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide safe and quality patient care
  • Act as a role model and mentor for nursing staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of operational priorities
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing and leading program development initiatives
  • Experience coaching and mentoring staff
