Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing and cooking food, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Stock Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and free of clutter.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide support and assistance to newcomers and refugees, including providing diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
