Nurse Practitioner

The Nurse Practitioner will serve as a primary care provider to residents in a long-term care setting, working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating resident care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, resident-focused care in accordance with the College of Nurses Ontario's scope of practice.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement resident care plans.
- Lead and mentor nursing staff to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Participate in research, education, and evidence-based practice initiatives to improve resident outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Long-Term Care standards and regulations.
- Master's degree in Nursing and/or Geriatrics.
- Current Certificate of Competence as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care facilities.
- Exceptional documentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain lasting working relationships.
- Effective leadership skills, with a focus on teaching and coaching.
- Competitive salary range: $118,646 - $139,577 per year.
