Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Real Estate Strategy & Research to join our growing team.

In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our real estate portfolio by providing strategic direction and insightful analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive long-term real estate strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and trend analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of potential real estate investments, leveraging your expertise in financial modeling and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including investment professionals, legal counsel, and finance experts, to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
  • Continuously monitor market conditions and adapt real estate strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in real estate investment analysis, strategy development, or research.
  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing real estate markets, identifying trends, and assessing investment opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling techniques, risk assessment methodologies, and valuation principles.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
