Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Geriatric Mental Health team in North Vancouver. As an Occupational Therapist with VCH, you will provide occupational therapy services to clients to achieve quality client-focused care and enable clients to develop healthy patterns of occupations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to clients to achieve quality client-focused care and enable clients to develop healthy patterns of occupations.
- Identify and assess client's occupational performance issues utilizing an evidence-based approach.
- Plan and implement goal-directed services, and evaluate the effectiveness of the service.
- Prepare and maintain records.
- Contribute to the organization and delivery of occupational therapy services, and participate in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy plus two (2) years' recent related experience and/or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
