Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) is seeking a highly skilled Planning Lead to join our Capital Planning and Redevelopment team.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading multiple projects simultaneously, requiring strong leadership, planning, and prioritization skills from the early planning phases through design to construction and occupancy.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working on projects in an acute healthcare environment, with a strong understanding of risk management and mitigation in healthcare construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously, requiring leadership, efficient planning, and prioritization skills.
- Facilitate outside professionals, contractors, and trades in ensuring risks to the building and operations are mitigated and project objectives are delivered on-time and on-budget.
- Plan, schedule, and control all design and construction activities toward project objectives.
Requirements:
- An accredited degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
- 5 years' experience leading design and/or construction projects.
- 3 years' experience working on projects in an acute healthcare environment.
