Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage technical leadership and consulting expertise to develop and maintain high-level design plans for logical and technical IT architecture, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
  • Provide strategic decision-making support from project planning to execution, ensuring organizational commitment for high-level infrastructure plans.
  • Lead major projects, architect, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, and WIFI infrastructure, operating systems, end-user software, virtualized environments, server infrastructure, email systems, ACLs, phone systems, surveillance systems, SANs, VLANs, firewalls, routers, DNS, hosts, virtual infrastructure, plant automation infrastructure, as assigned.
  • Manage escalation to third-party support organizations, recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and purchases.
Education & Experience:
  • A minimum of eight years' experience as a technical consultant or architect, preferably within a consulting agency or managed services organization.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CCNA, ITIL 2011 Foundation, VMware vSphere, CISSP, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, MCP, MCSA, or equivalent are highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Visio, Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), MS Active Directory, Office365 administration, Cisco CLI, or Meraki is essential.
