Woodworking Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Oxford County Renovations Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including preparing estimates, reading blueprints, and measuring and cutting materials.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites
- Train and supervise apprentices
- Estimate costs and materials for projects
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the trade
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 35 to 40 hours of work per week
