About the Role

Oxford County Renovations Ltd is seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets and furniture pieces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form wood components
  • Design and build custom cabinets that maximize storage space
  • Shape and finish wood surfaces using hand tools and power equipment
  • Study plans and specifications to ensure accurate production
  • Assemble and fit parts together to form complete units
  • Apply finishes and coatings to finished products
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Supervise and train other workers as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in woodworking or a related field
  • Ability to work 35-40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
Work Environment

The Cabinetmaker will work in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
