About the Role

Oxford County Renovations Ltd is seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets and furniture pieces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, and drawings to create custom cabinet designs that meet our clients' needs.
  • Woodworking: Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form parts and components, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Assembly and Finishing: Assemble and finish custom cabinets, applying varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to achieve a high-gloss finish.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our design team to ensure seamless communication and timely project completion.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring efficient use of materials and minimizing waste.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
