Job Title: Cleaning Equipment Operator

Job Summary

Clean and prepare parts using mechanized devices, sand jets, glass or plastic beads, and/or handle parts manually.

Main Responsibilities

Perform dismantling operations on depressurized landing gear components (excluding power steering types).
- Follow visual assessment guidelines to accept or reject parts for subsequent operations.
- Adjust and prepare machines, handle parts, fill and empty machines, and clean parts without direct supervision.
- Clean parts and correct visible defects, such as scratches, chipping, corrosion, and sharp edges, using deburring, polishing, and stone grinding machines.
- Perform simple operations on medium-to-high-value parts with wide-to-precise tolerances, such as major landing gear parts and foundry parts.
- Read and interpret instructions to complete tasks accurately.
- Occasionally train and/or guide other employees in performing tasks.
- Ensure quality and quantity of work meet standards and report any anomalies to superiors.

Qualifications

Secondary course or less, with a certain level of analysis and judgment required.
