Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and supervising a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Hire and train food service staff, including food service counter attendants, food preparers, and kitchen helpers.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, and sales.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant training or certification in food service management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced food service establishment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The work environment will be physically demanding, with a focus on meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Food Service Supervisor will work 35-40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as required.
