Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Don's Dinner is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Prepare and submit reports, providing regular updates on food service operations.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as hospitality or culinary arts.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
