Food Service Manager

B.C. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and preparing budget and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training and development.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Fast-paced environment with high volume of customers.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Client focus and commitment to customer satisfaction.
