Motion Graphics Design Intern

We're seeking a talented Motion Graphics Design Intern to join our in-house creative studio. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the visual storytelling of our brand, working on a wide range of projects, including digital ads, social media content, and video campaigns that inspire Canadians to book their next escape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging motion graphics for digital ads, social media, video content, and more, aligned with our brand's look and feel.
  • Collaborate with the creative team, including designers, copywriters, and marketing managers to bring concepts to life.
  • Develop storyboards and visual concepts that enhance our marketing campaigns, focusing on dynamic visuals that captivate and convert.
  • Animate 2D/3D graphics, text, and other visual elements to elevate our brand's storytelling and drive engagement.
  • Edit and enhance video content, integrating motion design seamlessly to create polished, professional outputs.
  • Stay on top of design trends and techniques, bringing fresh ideas to keep our content ahead of the curve.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of work under pressure.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator). Experience with Cinema 4D or similar 3D software is a plus.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to think big, generate bold ideas, and push the boundaries of conventional motion design.
  • A passion for visual storytelling with the ability to create graphics that are not just visually appealing but also impactful and memorable.
  • Strong technical skills in animation and design, including an understanding of timing, pacing, and composition.
  • Openness to feedback and a collaborative spirit with a positive attitude towards iteration and continuous improvement.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to quickly adapt and experiment with new styles and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
