Director of Operations and Production Manager

At Polykar Inc., we are seeking a skilled Director of Operations and Production Manager to join our team. This is a senior leadership position that requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing department, including production planning, inventory management, and quality control. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and operational targets.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Collaborate with the quality department to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Work closely with process engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance to implement product and process changes.
- Proactively plan equipment maintenance and repair with the maintenance department.
- Contribute to the training and effective integration of new employees.
- Colegial training in operation management or relevant supervisor experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in management or employee's supervision in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Demonstrate leadership and have strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organization skills including the ability to prioritize.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage conflicts.
- Great sense of autonomy and initiative.
- Bilingual French / English.
