Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Grocery Store Cashier - Sales Associate to join our team at Andrea's Hotel. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while operating a cash register, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, including the cash register area and surrounding areas.
  • Stock shelves and restock inventory as needed.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting tills and balancing the cash register.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or customer service environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
