Waterpark Safety Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waterpark Safety Specialist to join our team at Westmont Hospitality Group. As a Waterpark Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests and colleagues in the waterpark environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of awareness and vigilance at all times while on duty, responding promptly and effectively to any emergency situation.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the waterpark facilities, equipment, and surroundings to identify potential hazards and take corrective action as necessary.
- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of medical services.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.
- Participate in regular training and drills to maintain and improve safety skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- National Lifeguarding Services (NLS) certification and First Aid, CPR level 3 with AED.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to stand for long periods, walk, and swim.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a hot and humid environment.
- Must be able to wear a uniform and follow dress code policies.
