Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reverse Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Metro Supply Chain. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end returns processes, creating bill of ladings, and ensuring compliance with strict scheduling.

About the Role
  • Oversight of reverse logistics operations from RMA to freight returns and SOP processes
  • Creation of bill of ladings for return orders to designated vendors
  • Strict adherence to scheduling with vendors for RMAs

This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. As a Reverse Logistics Supervisor, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and transportation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Action industry best practices to improve efficiency in transportation and warehousing
  2. Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reverse logistics documentation
  3. Review and maintenance of Proof of Deliveries
  4. Maintenance of warehouse cage lists according to client SOP standards
  5. Loading returns, staging, and tagging products correctly
  6. Effective coordination with internal and external clients
  7. Completion of return documentation accurately and attaching it to products
  8. Monitoring returns area, organizing products, and allocating space for offloading
  9. Printing return slips for attachment to each return item
  10. Organizing product returns into designated warehouse sections and staging accordingly when BOL is created
  11. Audit of trailer loading protocol for all outbound products
  12. Staging line audit and tagging products correctly
  13. Tracking, reviewing, and updating delivery returns and inbound products using Airtable
  14. Monitor Asset Tracker updates and maintain record accuracy
  15. Assist with team training and development
  16. Leadership of RVL warehouse personnel, delegating tasks, and performance management
  17. Reviewing RVL inventory processes for product availability and compliance with organization's procedures
  18. Creation and management of solutions for RVL inventory capacity issues
  19. Maintenance of targets, objectives, and goals throughout the warehouse and driver return process
  20. Implementation and supervision of safe practices and Occupational Health & Safety regulation compliance
  21. Monitoring SOP compliance for all RVL warehouse operations
  22. Supervision of delivery return activity to ensure RVL receivers comply with warehouse procedures
  23. Assistance in escalated RVL issues
  24. End of day checklist completion and actioning
  25. Send end of day report to Operations Supervisor
  26. Complete shift briefings for effective communication of relevant information
  27. Provide daily feedback through coaching and performance reinforcement
  28. Successful unloading of inbound trailers (approximately 3-6 daily)
  29. Preliminary preparation of outbound for the following operational day
