About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at DAYS INN BY WYNDHAM SYLVAN LAKE. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Assist in preparing budgets and cost estimates for housekeeping supplies and services.
  • Coordinate Services: Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all necessary services are provided to our guests, including laundry and linen services.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the housekeeping team to ensure that all areas of the hotel are covered.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
