About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at DAYS INN BY WYNDHAM SYLVAN LAKE. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Coordinate Cleaning Schedules: Plan and coordinate cleaning schedules to ensure that all areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning supplies and services.
  • Coordinate Additional Services: Arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, and renovations as needed.
  • Assist with Cleaning Tasks: Assist cleaning staff with their duties as needed to ensure that all areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work with other departments to ensure that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard and that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
