Job Summary

Treasure Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods at designated locations, taking care to secure cargo and prevent damage.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and maintain open communication with other drivers and team members.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle condition, cargo, and delivery information.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, but a valid Class 1 or A driver's license is required.
  • Transportation Experience: Long-haul experience is preferred.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to sit for extended periods, with attention to detail and flexibility.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, team player, and flexible.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 50-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
