Job Summary

Treasure Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across long distances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance to prevent mechanical issues and ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of transportation, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, but a background in transportation or a related field is preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and a valid driver's license check.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods, with regular breaks for rest and exercise.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, organization, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions

Treasure Transport Inc. offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be required to work 50 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off.
