About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Treasure Transport Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods, maintaining a high level of attention to detail to prevent damage or loss.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, performing regular inspections to ensure all equipment is in good working order.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate records of vehicle condition and maintenance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, ensuring the vehicle is always in a safe and reliable condition.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining effective communication with the team.
Requirements
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Long-haul transportation experience
  • Valid driver's license check
  • Ability to work 50 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
