Liquor Store Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team at Pineview Cold Beer & Liquor Store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, including managing sales floor activities, supervising staff, and maintaining inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks to ensure efficient sales floor operations.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales professionals to meet our high standards.
- Authorize Payments: Manage financial transactions, including cheque payments, to maintain accurate records.
- Order Merchandise: Source and procure products to meet customer demand and maintain inventory levels.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize overtime.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, merchandising trends, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
- Supervise Staff: Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure staff meet performance expectations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
