Job Description

Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating end-to-end reporting and analysis, ensuring the accuracy of data in the reports distributed to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and Analysis: Design and create reports and analysis to meet the needs of senior leadership and internal customers.
  • Business Needs Assessment: Meet with clients to assess and document business needs, and convert them into a needs analysis to be used for building reports.
  • Technical Skills: Work with Power BI, SQL, and other systems and programming languages to develop reports and perform advanced analysis.
  • Communication: Communicate data-driven insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to drive business decisions.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple business analysis initiatives simultaneously, and work independently with users to define concepts or under the direction of project managers.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a project resource/stakeholder as assigned, and provide solutions that are practical as well as visionary.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience working within a Senior Analyst or similar role.
  • Education: University Degree in Mathematics/Statistics.
  • Technical Skills: Robust SQL, Dax, and Python skills, experience in statistical models and advanced analysis, and experience in data visualization and data storytelling.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and metadata skills, teamwork and commitment to reaching the goals of the project and the company.
