Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leaders across the business to gather and understand requirements
  • Partner with team members to build data models for reporting and analysis
  • Support initiatives that enhance our marketing analytics, product analytics, and experimentation capabilities
  • Create and maintain Looker reports and dashboards
  • Help business stakeholders define and track KPIs across departments

What You'll Achieve:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the company to understand their challenges and data needs
  • Familiarize yourself with Maple's existing data models and reporting tools, especially Looker
  • Identify immediate areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Develop a deep understanding of Maple's data model and implement improvements and extensions to enhance reporting
  • Proactively identify strategic opportunities and become an expert in Maple's business model

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst with increasing levels of responsibility and expertise
  • Strong SQL and Python data analysis skills
  • Experience with applied statistical analysis, predictive modelling, experimentation, and hypothesis testing
  • Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Mode
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehouse services like Amazon Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake
  • Familiarity with data integration tools like Stitch, Fivetran, Census, or Hightouch, and customer data platform (CDP) tools like RudderStack or Segment
