Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring that all customers receive a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, ensuring that all staff are aware of the importance of food safety and hygiene.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, ensuring that all stock is accurately recorded and that orders are placed in a timely manner.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Recruitment: Recruit and hire staff, ensuring that all new staff members are properly trained and integrated into the team.
- Disability Support: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Newcomer Support: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Youth Support: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
