Job Title: Industrial Mechanic and Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team at SKEANS Pneumatic and Automation Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery. They will also be involved in troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, and performing routine maintenance work on machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery
  • Install and maintain machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Estimate costs and materials
Requirements
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electrical and electronic controls
  • Experience with fans and blowers
  • Experience with gas and air dryers
  • Experience with industrial and stationary engines
  • Experience with pneumatic systems
