Job Title: Industrial Mechanic and Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team at SKEANS Pneumatic and Automation Inc. in Canada.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical equipment, assembling stationary industrial machinery, and performing routine maintenance work on machinery. They will also be required to detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements, and repair or replace defective machinery parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
Requirements
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electrical and electronic controls, fans and blowers, gas and air dryers, industrial and stationary engine, pneumatic system, pumps and compressors
  • Knowledge of rigging and handling, start-up and testing, and troubleshooting
