Senior Accountant Job Description

Our esteemed client, Elby Professional Recruitment Inc, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team. This role reports directly to the Controller and focuses on project-based accounting, costing, and other financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project budgets
  • Conduct cost analysis and identify areas for improvement
  • Verify expenses, payments, and schedules
  • Prepare project reports and summaries
  • Coordinate project financing and liaise with project managers
  • Perform other finance duties as required
Requirements:
  • CPA or actively enrolled in CPA program
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  • Construction experience considered an asset
  • Strong Excel skills
