Job Description

We are currently seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will involve coordinating and executing logistics operations to ensure seamless delivery of goods and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate shipping documents and information into the Warehouse Management System
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
  • Schedule pickup and delivery of inbound/outbound freight
  • Maintain inventory controls and update spreadsheets and reports on a routine basis
  • Report any discrepancies and communicate with team members
  • Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment safely
  • Sort and place materials on shelves or in warehouse locations as required
  • Fulfill quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in freight handling and forklift operation
  • Previous customer service work experience within a warehousing, logistics, or transportation industry
  • Excellent numeracy and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Working knowledge of online inventory management systems
