Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis: Prepare high-quality credit applications and annual reviews of corporate counterparties, analyzing financial statements, industry dynamics, and competitive environments.
- Debt Repayment Capability: Determine debt repayment capability and ensure compliance with Societe Generale's Credit Policies.
- Obligor Risk Ratings: Propose and update Obligor Risk Ratings to ensure accurate risk assessment.
- Covenant Monitoring: Monitor compliance with covenants and propose changes as necessary.
- Legal Documentation: Review relevant legal documentation and propose changes to comply with Societe Generale's policies.
- Collaboration: Liaise with other teams, business lines, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Financial Analytical Skills: Possess strong financial analytical skills, including financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment.
- Commercial Banking Knowledge: Have a solid understanding of commercial and investment banking products, including credit agreements and financial covenants.
- Teamwork: Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment, including interacting with teams in different locations.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex financial transactions.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and have experience with financial modeling and data analysis.
- Experience: 4 years of experience as a credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or economics.
