The Opportunity

This Senior Manager role offers the opportunity to lead a critical program that ensures compliance with Canadian marketing regulations, while championing a client-driven culture and deepening client relationships.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the Customer Preference Management Regulatory Program (Operating Practices) to ensure compliance with Canadian marketing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to business lines on customer preference management and CASL requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge and awareness of customer preference management and CASL.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Privacy and Compliance teams to ensure alignment and effective governance.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulatory requirements, providing recommendations for updates to policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, preferably including a degree in marketing or related field.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian marketing regulations, including CASL.
  • Experience in a financial institution, preferably in a regulatory compliance role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
