Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Operations Specialist to join our team at Brenntag. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of chemicals in our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of production plans
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on chemical handling and safety procedures
  • Participate in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures
  • Assist in the planning and execution of maintenance and repair activities
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure optimal facility performance

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in chemical handling and operations
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more
  • WHMIS/TDG training and forklift certification required
