Job Title: Vice President Clinical, Surgery, Critical Care, Oncology and Women's Health

Unity Health Toronto is seeking an exceptional leader to join our executive team as Vice President Clinical, Surgery, Critical Care, Oncology and Women's Health. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape the future of healthcare in Toronto and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for clinical programs, including Surgery, Critical Care, Oncology and Women's Health
  • Provide leadership and oversight to clinical program leaders, ensuring excellence in patient care and quality improvement
  • Collaborate with medical and operational leaders to advance Unity Health Toronto's patient and resident care quality and patient safety agenda
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and community providers to enhance Unity Health Toronto's impact and reputation
Qualifications:
  • Post-graduate degree in nursing or other healthcare discipline, health policy or business/health/public administration
  • Progressive experience in leadership of hospital clinical programs, long term care, rehabilitation and complex care
  • Thorough understanding and appreciation of the complexities and stakeholder dynamics of community and academic health centres, which integrate patient care with teaching and research
  • Intellectual and analytic ability to deal with complex strategic and operational issues
  • Strong business skills and excellent communications and relationship-building skills
