About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Billing Technician to join our team. As a Billing Technician, you will be responsible for preparing invoices for work in progress, verifying accuracy of invoice information, processing invoice cancellations, credit notes and time entry corrections, solving billing-related problems, and processing writeoff requests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely invoices for work in progress
- Verify the accuracy of invoice information to ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Process invoice cancellations, credit notes, and time entry corrections in a timely and efficient manner
- Solve billing-related problems and provide solutions to clients
- Process writeoff requests and ensure accurate financial records
- Upload and follow up on all electronic invoicing
Requirements:
- DEC in administrative techniques or accounting or other related training
- 2 years of experience in billing, ideally in a professional services firm or large corporation
- Knowledge of Maitre or Elite software and electronic invoicing (an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written French
