Job Description

FAT BASTARD BURRITO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our food service team. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

This is a senior-level management position that requires a high level of expertise in food service operations, staff supervision, and inventory management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our food service operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement effective operational procedures to meet work schedules and ensure seamless execution of daily tasks.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Train new staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and adherence to company policies.
  • Evaluate and estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing ordering processes.
  • Hire and manage a team of food service staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain high-quality food and service standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every aspect of our operations.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare budget estimates, identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in food service operations management.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent certification in hospitality, food service, or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
