Job Summary

Maimaar Construction Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the activities of subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet project deadlines and budgets
  • Select and manage trade subcontractors to ensure high-quality work
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates and manage project finances
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to support project operations
  • Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control to ensure high-quality work
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to support project operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Plan and manage budgets to ensure project financial stability
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions to support project operations
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure high-quality work
  • Develop risk management plans to mitigate potential project risks
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform project decisions
  • Prepare reports to stakeholders on project progress and performance
Work Environment

The Construction Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work overtime as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in construction management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
