Job Title: Assistant Manager, Construction

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Construction to join our team at Colliers Project Leaders Inc. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of construction projects.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager, Construction will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors' activities, planning and organizing daily operations, and preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates. You will also plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitor progress, and oversee the analysis of data and information. Additionally, you will prepare reports, oversee a team of 5-10 people, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Plan and organize daily operations to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates to stakeholders
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform project decisions
  • Prepare reports to stakeholders on project progress and performance
  • Oversee a team of 5-10 people to ensure effective project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction project management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
