About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Intelcom, a leading last-mile carrier in the e-commerce sector. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our daily operations and contributing to our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Interpret operational and accounting data to identify trends and variations, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the payroll department to process and analyze Corpo payroll data, and explain variances.
  • Model cost trends and forecast future costs using statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
  • Record journal entries for balance sheet accounts and income statement, and manage utility supplier accounts for bank reconciliation purposes.
  • Review expense reports and record accounting entries, and prepare accrual entries for accounts payable.
  • Support the payables team as needed, and participate in special projects and ad hoc requests from the management team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in administration or accounting.
  • CPA title (an asset).
  • Relevant experience as a financial analyst (2 to 4 years).
  • Bilingual (English and French).
  • Able to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, collaboration, and initiative.
  • Proficient in Excel (formula, macro, and programming an asset).
