Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at Kings of Media Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure network hardware and software
  • Maintain and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and mainframe networks
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software and optimize server performance

Support for Diverse Communities:

  • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities

Work Environment:

  • Hours: 30 hours per week
