We're seeking a highly skilled Senior API Engineer with strong Java experience to join our engineering and architecture team. As a critical member of our team, you'll be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining Restful APIs and their communication with downstream systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement database to middle-tier solutions using Java.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, analysts, product specialists, and other software engineers.
  • Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for junior programmers.
  • Conduct design reviews to ensure code meets coding standard methodologies guidelines, unit testing, security, and scalability and maintainability guidelines.
  • Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming in Java.
  • Experience designing microservices architecture.
  • Experience building back-end RESTful web services with Java-based frameworks.
  • Experience working with SQL databases.
  • Experience using agile methodologies.
