Senior Java Developer Opportunity

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team in Toronto, ON. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Java applications using Scala and Akka.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Java applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement REST APIs using Java
  • Work with Git, Jenkins, and Gradle to ensure smooth development and deployment processes
  • Design and implement Linux shell scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency
  • Develop and maintain SQL server databases to support Java applications

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with Google Proto and.Net
  • Knowledge of SSIS and previous experience in the Banking or FI sector
