Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications using Java.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality Java code that meets business requirements and engineering specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong background in Java.
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot, Apigee, Confluent/Kafka, Liquibase, Docker/Istio/Rancher/Kubernetes.
  • Experience with database systems and data access methods.
  • Source code management and build automation systems.
  • Test-driven development and test frameworks.
