Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to join our team in managing large-scale infrastructure development projects.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who can provide exceptional project coordination support to ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of large infrastructure projects, including construction management and design-build delivery methods;
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and issue resolution;
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget;
  • Coordinate and manage project documentation, including reports, meetings minutes, and site visit records;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on project coordination best practices and procedures;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • A high level of analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks;
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction management and design-build delivery methods;
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management or engineering;

Compensation and Benefits:

The Government of Alberta offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, pension plan, and paid time off.
