Assistant Department Manager Photo Lab Job Description

The Assistant Department Manager Photo Lab is a key role in our team, responsible for supporting the Department Manager in maintaining high standards of merchandising, customer service, and operational excellence within the Photo Lab and Photo Counter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Department Manager in directing staff to achieve operational and customer service goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in photography technology and industry innovations through independent research and training.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of management retail experience (preferably in a photo lab or similar environment).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of photography and related technologies.

As a Regular Part-Time employee, you will be scheduled a minimum of 1456 hours per year, up to 40 hours per week, as needed. Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday to Sunday.
