Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
- Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
- Relay information to central dispatch and receive and relay information to central dispatch.
- Load and unload goods, and use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes.
- Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:
- Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
- Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines.
- Physically demanding role requiring overtime.
- Cellular phone and efficient interpersonal skills.
- Client focus, team player, and experience an asset.
Working Conditions:
- 35 to 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
- Anglais is the primary language of communication.
