About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at 2063412 Investment LP. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in a nursing home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their personal hygiene and dignity are maintained.
  • Medication Management: Administer medication as required, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Meal Preparation and Feeding: Prepare and serve meals, and assist clients with feeding, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a clean and safe environment, performing light housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.
  • Companionship and Social Interaction: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, administering first aid and providing care until medical assistance arrives.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Nursing Aide Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
