About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Classic Touch Interior Renovations Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Handle heavy loads and materials.
Personal Qualities and Experience
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Show reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 38-42 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
